Top Tools Apps Performance on Android in Oceania, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Oceania showed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced changes in weekly downloads and active users.

QR & Barcode Scanner from Gamma Play maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 18.1K in mid-March. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at around 519K and reaching a peak of 578K before settling at 509K by the end of the quarter.

PDF Reader & PDF Viewer by EZ Tools Software saw a significant increase in downloads, starting from just 23 and climbing to over 31K in early March. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 19 to 36K before tapering off to 20K by the end of March.

Google Authenticator experienced a consistent download rate, ranging from approximately 7.9K to 12.3K. Active users remained strong, peaking at 602K in early March and maintaining a steady base of over 555K.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile displayed a fluctuating download pattern, with a high of about 13.4K in early February. The active user count showed a decline from 104K in early January to 73K by the end of March.

Finally, My Telstra exhibited stable download figures, generally hovering around 8K to 10K. Active users peaked at 435K in late February, with a gradual decrease to 334K by the quarter's end.
